Answers to the questions we hear most, and how to reach us.

01What am I looking at?

A simulated market. The companies, funds and indexes are fictional, prices are generated on your device, and the portfolio uses practice funds. The app is a place to learn and rehearse a routine.

02Why do prices move all the time?

The practice market runs continuously so the workspace behaves like a live terminal. "Today" resets at local midnight, which is when the previous close and the day's change start over.

03My limit order was rejected

A buy limit has to sit below the current price and a sell limit above it. To trade at the current price, use a market order. Buy limits reserve cash and sell limits reserve shares until they fill or you cancel them from Paper › Orders.

04Do stops and targets execute?

They are recorded with the fill so you can review your plan later. Exits are placed by you.

05How do I start over?

Notebook › About › Reset paper ledger. Positions, orders, history and the equity curve are cleared; notes, watchlist and saved backtests are kept. Export your history first if you want a copy.

06Where is my data?

On your device. See the privacy policy.

07Disclosures

Briefs, guides and backtest reports are educational content, not investment, financial, legal or tax advice. Results in a simulated environment do not predict results in real markets. Trading real securities involves risk, including the possible loss of principal.
